The Ram pickup has been with us since 1981, and through those three-plus decades it has played third fiddle to its Ford and Chevy rivals. That’s a long time, during which numerous sales managers have probably found it necessary to update their résumés. But the latest generation could well bring that also-ran status to an end—at least until the 2014 GM pickups make their appearance. Maybe even beyond. [ via : caranddriver ]

2013 Dodge Avenger SE
How much car can you get in this country for sixteen thousand bucks? Well, you could try a base-model Elantra, or with a bit of sharp dealing you might come up with a Sentra. TrueCar thinks you might be able to sneak into a Cruze LS. Certainly you could get a Ford Focus, which might be the best choice if you can shift for yourself or you trust the PowerShift double-clutcher.[ via : thetruthaboutcars ]
2013 Dodge Charger Review
Imagine our disappointment when a Charger SXT was delivered for us to test, rather than the SRT8 we were expecting. Instead of 470 rip-snorting horsepower and a massive dose of torque from a simply huge 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine, we were left to settle with the base 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. In fact, we were so bummed, we didn’t even drive it for two days.
I did, and at home neighbors began dropping by to ogle the car. And these are the same folks who are used to seeing all kinds of new cars in my driveway. Friends who stopped by didn’t want to come in the house until they’d spend 15 minutes circling the Charger and gushing over the styling. Unlike the Challenger, this is no retro homage, but rather an update of the basic aggressive shape of the previous model. And it really works.
