Tim McGraw - dodge challenger

For those of you who prefer country music, Tim McGraw likely rings a bell. His latest album, named "Two Lanes of Freedom," inspired this rather cool Challenger SRT8 that can be yours, thanks to Pennzoil sweepstakes. This one-off Challenger is painted in a nice combination of orange and aqua blue, but it also gets numerous insertions of bronze, brown and red. It features a hood that pays tribute to the "TA" style used in the 1970s and a Mopar lowering kit. For the interior, McGraw opted for a bronze metallic trim on the center console and steering wheel, plus orange insertions on the leather seats. His signature is also embroidered on the seatbacks. In order to win this car all you need to do is be a resident of the U.S. or Canada, click the source link and complete the form with your personal details. Before going to its winner, this one-off Challenger SRT8 by Tim McGraw will join the singer in a special tour.

How much car can you get in this country for sixteen thousand bucks? Well, you could try a base-model Elantra, or with a bit of sharp dealing you might come up with a Sentra. TrueCar thinks you might be able to sneak into a Cruze LS. Certainly you could get a Ford Focus, which might be the best choice if you can shift for yourself or you trust the PowerShift double-clutcher.[ via : thetruthaboutcars ]

Although its glory days are gone, thanks to smaller SUVs and crossover vehicles, the minivan is still much alive. And Chrysler’s 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan was the top-selling such vehicle in America in 2012.

Moreover, the base Grand Caravan—the APV (American Value Package) model gets a $1,000 price cut for 2013. That makes it the most affordable 7-passenger vehicle in America.

Introduced in 1983 as a 1984 model as simply the Dodge Caravan, this minivan met the needs of many baby boomers who were starting families. It has been continually improved to keep up with the times—and to stay ahead of competitors. It soon was joined by the more upscale Chrysler Town & Country, which also is offered for 2013.

The Dodge Demon Roadster concept car, which will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, is a compact, nimble, two-seat rear-wheel drive “roadster with attitude”. The idea of this concept is to create an affordable Dodge sports car which merges the Dodge brand cues of bold design and powerful performance with an open-air “fun-to-drive” attitude. The exterior design is therefore simple and typically Dodge – muscular lines and 19 inch aluminium wheels, the signature Dodge crosshair grille together with headlamps that aim to accentuate the grille to produce a very aggressive look. Peter Lambert, Managing Director of Chrysler Group said: “You might think that American cars always have to be big – but with the Hornet concept and now the Demon Roadster, Dodge has rewritten the rules for cool American car design. The Dodge Demon gives a taste for a potential future roadster that could sit alongside the Caliber and the Nitro and Avenger cars that we will launch later this year.” The concept is powered by a 2.4-litre petrol engine the Dodge Demon is capable of producing 172 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 165 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm.

Dodge Ram  6x6 Concept Truck - T-Rex Lives

It's 1997. Evade has recently presented its Ram T-Rex 6x6 idea truck, a vehicle that guarantees to rehash the work rig as we probably am aware it. An other option to the demonstrated dualie style, this truck breaks new ground giving the driving open an individual vehicle that could "out-tow, out-'wheel, out-move, out-pull and out-run anything in its class." At slightest that was Dodge's desire. At that point reality struck, and the chiefs at DaimlerChrysler woke up. As they chopped out the task, they pondered, "Who might purchase such a vehicle?" A person like Stan Prueitt, of Los Alamos, New Mexico, that is who.

To say that SRT boss Ralph Gilles was unhappy with the results of our comparison test between the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and the SRT Viper GTS would be like saying Michael Corleone was a little disappointed in his brother Fredo. Ralph was understandably livid. After all, the largest automotive publication in the land had just said that his new baby — the only product in his brand’s stable and the car that somehow survived the executioner’s axe during Chrysler‘s bankruptcy largely thanks to his force of will was not as good as a four-year-old Chevy mere weeks away from going out of production. Rubbing salt in that wound, with racing great Randy Pobst at the wheel, the ZR1 set the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca production car lap record with a time of 1:33.70, beating the old record — Dodge Viper Ups the Ante”>held by a Viper ACR — of 1:33.92 in the process. I’d be upset, too.(via : motortrend )

Chrysler has issued a recall for the V6 version of the 2013 Dodge Challenger (as pictured above in 2012MY ) over the possibility of a wiring harness that could short circuit and lead to a fire. Owners of these V6 Challengers built from November 2012 through January 2013 are being urged to contact dealers immediately and, in the meantime, not to drive their cars or park in or near any buildings.
